Director Youth Development

Jenn Roark ~ I work here because…I have the opportunity to hear other people’s stories, and help make their membership more affordable so they can focus on their personal health and wellness journey. Additionally, I have the opportunity to enrich the lives of our youngest members through our children’s programs.

Membership & Front Desk Coordinator

Karen Fugate ~ I got my first start at a YMCA in Homestead, Florida. When I was in only elementary school I attended the YMCA’s afterschool program while my mother went back to nursing school and my father worked as a purchasing manager. That experience led to working at that same YMCA in the afterschool program when I was 17. Years later, I stll work for the YMCA because I believe in the core mission that the Y stands for. I like the atmosphere and sense of community that all Y’s offer!

Community Outreach Director

Sheila Bauer ~ I absolutely love helping people. Watching their faces when we at the YMCA have helped them to make a difference in their lives is a wonderful feeling. Knowing that when you have helped to make a change for the better in someone’s life is one of the best feelings in the world. That tells me we do and can make a difference. Our mission statement is being fulfilled thru spirit, mind, and body.
